#14 Babygrand Making some final adjustments during practice.
Its hard work maintaining a race car but, with a good pit crew it can be done in a snap.
Im not sure there was any specific design elements used in this image, I wanted to capture the pit crew in action.
Rubbing is Racing! #62 lost traction coming out of turn 2 causing him to lean on #41. Both cars held it together.
As much as many will deny it, racing is a full contact sport whether intentional or not.
It is clear that the element of Line was used in this image.
Fully digital lap timer/counter, allows for race fans to know exactly who they should be rooting for. Shown here is the top fastest qualifying car numbers.
Space was most certainly used in this image.
The stands are empty during practice, this is the only time to get to the track, you can sit exactly where you want.
Choosing your seat is as easy as showing up early and setting your stuff down. Track regulars reserve their seating for the entirety of the season but showing up early in the season and placing a blanket, tape, signs, or plastic chairs on the benches.
The element of space was used here again to show the vast seating options.
Removing the hood of the car, allows for easy access to the engine bay. Making maintenance and tuning a breeze.
Also by removing the hood the engine can cool down much quicker after a hard push during the race.
Again i'm not sure which element fits here its just a photo of the pits.
You are greeted with a sign that reads Welcome Race Fans!
Contrast is a powerful element in this image. Its bold and to the point
GET YOUR TICKETS HERE! The ticket booth is dead center and clearly marked. Policies and Rules are strict and enforced very well at this track. To ensure race fans, employees, and drivers are safe during the events duration.
This image uses the rule of 3rds, the primary focus of this image was on the ticket booth to the right of the image. It also creates a sense of depth.

TOO HOT? TOO COLD? Rent one of these sweet VIP booths for the evening, they come packed with air conditioned rooms, space for 15 people, and cushioned chairs, feeling claustrophobic or just want to smell the delicious fumes of high octane race fuel? Crack a window and breathe deep.
Line was used heavily here, between the stands and VIP building.
Caution!! Theres a time for speed and theres a time to slow down, cautions protect the drivers as well as the race fans, during cautions the cars may line up again, a car may be towed, or there could be slick fluid or debris on the track. Safety is top priority.
Rule of 3rds was used here, there is also a reversed DOF in this image since the flagger is out of focus.

Communication is key to a fun and successful racing event.
Here you see the flagger adjusting his headset to ensure clear and concise vocals can be transmitted as well as heard prior to the start of the race.
Also shown are the various flags thrown during any given race event. While racers try there hardest to grab the checkered one, The fan favorite is the green one, LETS GO RACING!!!

Color is used here, without color the flags would be almost too similar to be effective during the race event.
